Collaborative cultures

Collaborative Cultures is a cross-sectoral program that supports people and organisations to build cultures of meaningful collaboration. Through collective reflection and action, we help develop capacities to address complex shared challenges together. Developed in partnership with the College of Arts and Social Sciences at the Australian National University.

How we do this

Research – We conduct action research into:

  • Collaboration Contexts – The environments where meaningful collaborative cultures need to flourish
  • Collaboration Dynamics – What enables or blocks effective collaboration across diverse situations
  • Collaboration Approaches – Methods and conditions that support shared reflection, dialogue, and collective action

Experimentation – We develop and pilot new approaches to embed collaborative practice as cultural interventions.

Creating & Holding Space – We establish conditions for shared reflection, curiosity, and connection.

Change Projects & Advocacy – We advocate for cultural change by developing and implementing collaborative practice initiatives.

Partnerships & Access

We prioritise working with frontline collaborators in community, cultural, and environmental sectors, students, and First Nations practitioners. Through partnerships and subsidised programs, we ensure our tools and methods reach those who can create the greatest collaborative impact.
